Emerald & gold empress ring
Green and gold, name a better combo. This stunning ethically sourced Zambian Emerald sparkles and shimmers like she was born to do. Set in a 9ct gold hand forged setting and band.
The forged process starts by melting gold in a crucible and the pouring into a mould to create an ingot. Then the ingot is hammered on steel to create the desired shape. This process takes a while as while hammering the gold gets hard and needs to be constantly annealed. Once this stage is finished I am left with a beautifully textured sheet of gold to form a band.
